"Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.
Thou turnest man back to the dust,
For a thousand years in thy sight are but as
yesterday when it is past.
Thou dost sweep men away; they are like a dream;
For as a flower of the field man flourisheth
And is soon cut down, and the place where men lived
Shall know him no more."
Psalm xc

Miss Me But Let Me Go
When I come to the end of the road
and the sun has set for me,
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room,
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little ... but not too long
and not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that was once shared,
Miss me ... but let me go.
For this is a journey we all must take,
and each must go alone.
It's all part of the Master's plan,
a step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart,
go to the friends we know,
And bury your sorrows in good deeds
...Miss me ... but let me go.

God Picked A Rose Today
A Rose Was picked from the garden of life today.
A smiling face was taken away.
We will shed a tear because he is no longer here,
Because he was so special and dear.
He is now in a far better place, looking down
On us with a smiling face.
He is now in a place where there is no pain, no hurt,
No sorrow. He knows that each day will bring
A far better tomorrow.
When you look in the sky tonight, you will see a
Star that is shining so bright. That is his way
Of telling us he is alright.
