1999

October, 1999

Everyone was in Wisconsin for the October, 1999 get-together. Len was recovering from rotator cuff surgery and the "Friends" helped out by cutting up some of the nine cords of wood for him. The weather was nice and Marc and Chris worked at the woodpile quite a few times. Later, when Pam arrived, she too pitched in and helped stack the wood in next to the garage.

All that work seemed to make Len and Sandy tired so they took a nap. (Note the remote control in Len's hand. He even sleeps with it.)

In keeping with "Tradition" we had to have a cheesecake. We put Marc to work cracking the eggs and patting the dough in the pan. He did a great job and the cheesecake turned out yummy.

As two wonderful weeks drew to a close we dressed up and went to Wausau for dinner on Friday evening. The dinner was delicious and everyone had a enjoyed the evening. To soon we had to say our good byes and we all are looking forward to the next time we can be together. Until then, it's back to our nightly sessions and email.
